Outfit of the Day- July 13

Hi! Today is Friday the 13th! I'm not that superstitious, but it gives me a reason to stay in bed all bed! I actually didn't sleep all day though. I went shopping and got a few things.

First, I'm going to give you a little outfit of the day (OOTD).

My top is actually from JCPenny (where most of my clothes are bought). I love that store! This top is a lace tank. They came in a few different colors, but I got white because I thought it would match with more of my colored shorts. Basically, the tank has a piece of lace sewn on top and the lace makes a pretty flowery design. Also there is a gold zipper half way down the back, but it's mostly for looks because the shirt is kind of flowing, so there's no need to unzip it. The only bad things about this top is that is sticks to everthing and the lace gets caught in the other clothings while in the washing machine and dryer, so it has to be washed seperately. :(

For my shorts, I picked out my black snake skin shorts by A.N.A. Again, I got them at JCPenny. They had the tan snake skin shorts, but I liked the black better. What I really like about these is that it's not like a floral short or stipped short. You can pass these shorts as a patterned short or a solid, therfore you can put this with just about any shirt. The material of these are really soft and streches as you wear them. They kind of stick to you throughout the day. You don't have to worry about itchy seams or things like that. These shorts
are really comfortable and one of my new favorties.
Lastly, for my shoes I wore these sandals by L.E.I. that I actually got from Walmart for $25 for Easter. Usually I don't get clothes or shoes at Walmart, but these sandals really caught my eye. They have a lot of gold tones, so I really enjoy matching them with different things. They also have a tiny wedge in the back of them that I find is to high for that shoe because when I wear them, the hell twist and I hurt my foot several times throughout the day while wearing them. I don't wear these too often because the jewels on the sandals rub on the top on my feet and scratch me. I'm very particular about shoes!

That's was my OOTD for today. The first store we actually went to was Hobby Lobby. I wanted a new bracelet and while looking around, by the checkout, I found this very unique selections of jewelry. I saw a few bracelets that I liked, but I fell in love with this one.

It actually looks different is the lightings on camera, but it's real color is like the last picture. I really think this is unique. I love the rose and the leaf shaped charms. ( I have a thing for roses!) I have to say that this bracelet is personalized for me even though it was bought that way beacause of the topaz jewel. It's my birthstone! As you can see, the chains are different color metals. I think this a really fun piece and very modern yet traditional and old-fashioned. I also believe this will go with many outfits. All in all, this bracelet was $5.99 and I really love it!

That's about it! Sorry, today was a really long post, but I just wanted to try something different, so please comment and subscribe and have a safe weekend. Bye!

Love yall!

Store Review-Torrid

Hi! So I haven't blogged in a few days due to my computer crashing, but it's back up and I'm ready to blog! I want to thank everyone who is reading this because I recentley got a lot more visitors. Thanks yall! Now on to today's blog!

I know this is a beauty/fashion blog, but I think I'm going to start posting some review posts. Some will be beauty related and others not.Today, for you, I have just one of those post.

Last weekend, I went to the the mall. I had a great time with my cousins being I don't see them much. My aunt actually introduced me to this store. I was skeptical about it at first, but as soon as I walked in the store, I fell in love. There wasn't really much selection in-store. I saw this teal and gray stripped halter top. I wasn't too sure on how the sizes ran, so I tired a size zero first. (This is a plus sized store, by the way.) It fit, but it was a little tight in the top, so I tried the one (in another color) and it fight perfectly. The store didn't actually have my size in the teal one ,so I ended up with the pink and gray stripped one.

To see the top I ended up with CLICK HERE!

The pricing wasn't too bad at Torrid. The shirt I got was actually $25, but when I got home I looked on the website and I found a lot of the same clothes on sale online.

My over all experience with Torrid was great. The jewerly was very unique also and they had some very cute, edgy swimwear. I hope I can visit this store again.

Love yall!
