Holiday Snowflake Nails

What's up, everyone? So yesterday I painted my nails and I thought I'd share this cute holiday design with yall. I was looking around on the internet and found a few pictures of holiday nail art. I wanted one that was really simple and didn't take a lot of time. So I actually found this pic that inspired my present manicure.

I found this design really pretty, but also really detailed. I loved the snowflakes and just the creativness of it. Anyway, I'm not too good at drawing and keeping my handing super steady, so I decided to turn to my Salon Express. If yall would like a review or tutorial on how to do it, let me know. Anyway, it came with five plates and I found a plate that had a snowflake-like design. I really wish they would've had something like in the inspired picture, but oh well. First I painted my nail with a base coat because the red polishes tend to stain my nails. Then I started by painting my nails with the Sally Hansen Diamond Strenght nail polish in the shade Honeymoon Red.

After appyling two coats of that and letting it completely dry, I got out my Salon Express and picked my plate. I used the SE20 plate, by the plate. Here's a pic of it.

Now you can see which design I chose. I next took my ole' white striper and painted the three "snowflakes". I scrapped the excess paint away and transfered to my stamper. From there I put that on my thumbs and repeated on the other hand. Next for my ring fingers, I used my white striper to paint only the big "snowflake". I then scrapped, transfered and put it on my both of my ring fingers. Lastly, I used a topcoat after everything was dry and I was done. Let me know if you want more holiday nail post. Oh, I almost forgot. Here is the finished product.

Well there you go. I hope yall enjoyed this little fun tutorial. I had a lot of fun making it for you guys. Leave comments below on what you think and maybe some future post you'd like to see. Happy Holidays!

Love yall!

Nail Polish of the Day- July 16th

Hey everyone! I haven't done a nail polish of the day post lately ,so I thought I'd do one today. Today's nail polish is Spectrum of Sally Hansen's HD line of polish.

I actually got this at CVS 75% off. I wish they would've had more colors to choose from, from the ones that were on sale. This polish is awesome. I actually painted my mom's toes with it about 3-4 weeks ago and it stills look great. It also is very bright and shiny and makes a statement. I really love this and I can't wait to try it out on my own nails. I highly recommend this. I don't know how well the other colors with work out, because I only have this one HD polish, but judging from this past experience with Spectrum, I will definitely try and get more of Sally Hansen's HD polish.

Hope yall enjoyed today's post! Bye!

Love yall!

Remove your nail polish without nail polish remover!

Hey! So, today I was wondering what to write about. Looking down at my blank finger nails and thinking back to how I got the nail polish off so quickly, gave me today's post. Let's get started!

So one night I was playing around in the water a lot and as fingers soaked, I realized my nails getting soft. I was tired of my nail polish design, so I decided I wanted to take it off. My ring fingers had the designs (colorful fish scales with glitter) and had the most polish built up (about 5-6 layers), so I decided to do those fingers first. I chose one side of the nail and peel the paint gently from the top to the bottom of my nail. Then I took that piece and carefully peeled off the nail polish, pulling in a different spot everytime to make sure the polish came off in one strip.

Now for the other fingers, painted about 3 coats of Marine Scene by Sally Hansen, I tried the same technique, but being I didn't have as much polish built up on those nails, their polish came off more in strips, but still easily. There's not much more to say, except maybe try this for yourself. You might have different results! If you do try this, let me know and you can enjoy your plain nails that doesn't have a acetone smell!

Love yall!

Nail Polish of the Day- June 14

Today's nail polish is 160 Cherry Red by Sally Hansen. This red is really vibrant and lasts a long time. Over time, you will see that I have a lot of Sally Hansen products.

Now I don't know about yall, but to me red goes with everything (outfit wise). So, have yall ever painted your nails and then when you removed the color with nail polish remover ,your nail is stained with that color. That always happens to me when I use red and a few other colors.

This is about it for today. I hope yall enjoyed. Please comment below and if you have any questions I'll be happy to answer them if I can.

Love Yall! Bye!

P.S. Yes, I'm from the south!
