Cover Girl's Tapestry Taupe Eyeshadow

Hey dolls! I hope you all enjoyed my last video post on Maybelline’s Mega Plush Mascara. If you didn’t see it, I’ll link it below. Anyway, let’s get started.

So, today I want to share this fascinating find of mine. Around Christmas time I went on a search to find an incredible cheap eye shadow that I could sweep on my lids in hurry and go. While looking at the cover girl eye shadows, I saw one that really stood out to me. This eye shadow is a light taupe, hints the name “Tapestry Taupe”. Cover girl has done really well with this color.

I’ve also heard that this color is a great dupe for MAC’s Satin Taupe. Here’s a picture I found on the internet through Google comparing the two. As you can see they look very much of the same.

Now for the packaging. I was really surprised by this because it isn’t the usual blue packaging from cover girl. It has a black bottom with a clear flip top. I think the material of the new packaging is great though. I find it a lot stronger of a plastic than the old blue packaging. This is great because if you throw this in your purse, it makes it a lot harder to break the plastic.

Another thing I really like, is the tiny applicator included. I usually don’t use these, but on the go it’s great. Especially because you’re not blending more than one color.  I’ve also found that this is a great highlight color for your brow bone if you only sweep a little on. Otherwise, it really does look like you put one shade all the way to you brows.

Wet N' Wild Lip Balm

Hey guys! So about a week ago I was at Walmart and saw this lip balm. I thought it was cute. I was looking at the flavors and they had cherry, watermelon, and rasberry. I picked the watermelon. I made on mistake on that because when you apply this product to your lips, your lips turn green. It makes you look like a martian. The cherry or rasberry one would've just made my lips a little more red, but I wasn't expecting the green tint. Anyway, here's the pic.

New Candle Warmer!

Hey everyone! So, the other day I was at Walmart and saw these candle warmers. I really wanted one, so I picked one up. There was many different designs on these candle warmers. I got the peace sign one. It was about $12.

For this, I got two scent of wax cubes. I couldn't decide on what scent I wanted. I first got, Better Homes and Garden's Soft Cashmere Amber wax cubes. It's really fresh and clean with a sweet scent to it. The second scent I got is by ScentSationals. The smell is No Place Like Home. This smell is a cinnamon-like ,heart-warming combination.

All in all, that's what I got to go with my candle warmer.

New Candle!

So if you've been following my post, you'll know that I bought a vanilla candle at Walmart about a month ago. I'm about an inch of it left, so when I went to Walmart the other day, I picked up a new candle.

I didn't really like the scents that Walmart had to offer, but my most favorite one out of all of them was the black cherry. It's very sweet and highly fragranced. When you open the lid, the whole room smells instantly. I really like it, and can't wait to burn it. I was hoping for some more high end candles, but I think a candle is a candle. The candle is 20oz., but it doesn't say how many hours the candle burns for. This candle was $5. I found this great.

Sorry for not posting lately, but with school, I have been really busy. I have a lot of things to do during the day. I hope I can start posting more. OOTD! Shopping!

Hey! Today I went shopping at my two most favorite, and most visited, stores. Of course, it's Target and JcPenny. For my outfit, I went pretty simple.

First of all, I wore my bright orange Arizona rounded-neck t-shirt. The shirt actually shows up darker than it's natural color.

For my bottoms, I wore this floral, Hawaii-styled skirt from Aeropostale. I really like it and thought the orange shirt was a great contrast to the navy darkness of the skirt. Sorry for the blurriness of the photo.

You've already seen the shoes, but I wore my L.E.I. sandals that I actually got from Walmart. They're pretty simple. They have a gold tone and a beaded top. I really like them.

Lastly, for my accessories I wore my bracelet from Hobby Lobby that I showed in a previous post.

Candles

Hey guys! For the past month, I've really been into candles. My mom always had candles around the house and it was the ones that smelled like leaves, the ocean, and other nature scents. For me, I thought those scents were just...not me. So while we were at Target about a month ago, I looked at the candles. The red velvet one didn't really appeal to me, but the sweet spun sugar totally pulled me in.

I don't know if you can see, but in a dew days I burned almost of it. I have about 4 cm left of it and I'm conserving it. This candle is a soy candle, so I did find it a little pricey, but not bad. I only got the 4oz candle that can burn up to 20 hours. I really like it.

The other day I actually went to Walmart and looked at the candles. I wanted a cheap one and I was in a rush. I looked at the Mainstay candles, and smelled each one of them. All of the scents were nature or fruit. I smelled the last one and it was vanilla. I was kind of skeptical about it because it is totally strong. When you light this candle it fragrances the whole room. If you come from another room into where the candle is burning, or just open the candle, the smell hits you in the face. This candle, to me, has good quality for it's price and being a knock version of the more expensive candles. I got the 20oz candle, but the candle doesn't state how long it'll burn for.
