Bath & Body Works: Wild Apple Daffodil

Hey everyone! So today I thought I would share my thoughts with yall on my current bath soap, perfume, and lotion. I am using Bath & Body Works' Wild Apple Daffodil. I love it. First of all, it's great for the summer time and it has a sweetness to it, but not so sweet that it nauseates you. I really love the color of this. It's a light blue that actually matches my room color.

I got the regular shower gel, but instead of the regular perfume and soap, I got the shimmer ones. I love this. It give a sparkle to your body and smells awesome. I highly recommend this scent, especially for summer.

I used one of my three soaps that are not opened for this picture because the one I am using is almost empty. I didn't have another perfume ,so I used my current one. Sorry for the light coming from my computer in the back.

I hope this post has inspired yall to try this out. I know I didn't do much for describing these products, but I'm kind of tired. Anyway, Bye!

Maybelline Baby Lips

Hi! So yesterday I didn't post because I wasn't home all day, and when I got home, I was tired. I went school supplies shopping with my cousins. Anyway, today I am still a little tired, but I'm going to do a tiny post.

For today, I'm going to talk about my Maybelline Baby Lips. I have it in Quenched and it has a clear color to it. I didn't get the tinted ones, because I didn't know how pigmented the color would be, I really like this lip product. It is a great moisturizer. I've heard some people say that it taste like honey and lemon, but I don't taste it. It has a very light smell to me, but I still love it. I wear it alot and the only bad thing I found about this product was the price. I got mine a while back when they first came out and I paid seven dollars for it. Although I have to say that it was worth seven dollars to me. I really recommend this product.

If you happen to buy this product or have it, please share your results with me and others.

**NOTE**: New tab! Horoscopes coming for the month of August! Stay tuned!

JcPenny Haul!

So if read yesterday's post, you'll know that I went shopping yesterday. Today I am going to show you the three clothing items I got a JcPenny. All of these things were found on the clearance rack and I thought that was great.

The first thing I got was a shirt. It's cropped, but not too much. It's this navy/dark gray and white striped shirt. I really liked it and it caught my eye. The shirt has a little pocket with stripes going the opposite direction of the stripes on the shirt, which I thought was cute. Also, on the back of this top are button all the way down. This really tied the deal for me, because I don't have anything that buttons in the back. This shirt was on sale for $13 and is the brand Rewind <<.

Now for the two bottoms I got. They are both by the brand BISOU BISOU Michele Bohbot. These were also both originally twenty dollars, but I got them for $10 each.

The pinkish skinny jean's color is called rose tan. I really like this color and thought it would go with a lot and go with the shirt I also bought. I found that they were high-waisted and they were a denim material. For me, they were a little long, but not to much. I really like the details on this brand of skinny jeans because the buttons are so cute. They all have little jewels in them and in this pant's case, the jewels were black. I can't wait to wear these.

For the second pair of pants I got that were also this brand were a jade green color even though the lighting is making them look teal. The tag says the color is golf green. I really like these. I don't know what I'm going to pair with them as far a tops, but I just thought they were. If you have any ideas whyat I could wear with these green skinny jeans, please leave a comment. Now the buttons on this pair of pants has green jewels which I thought was a safe match, but it would've been pretty with purple, pink, or even blue jewels.

Sorry I couldn't put these pictures like the pink pants, but I was getting aggravated, so they are staying like this. Today post was just a haul, so maybe tommorow's post will be better. Leaves comments below and I can't wait to hear from yall! Bye!

OOTD! Shopping!

Hey! Today I went shopping at my two most favorite, and most visited, stores. Of course, it's Target and JcPenny. For my outfit, I went pretty simple.

First of all, I wore my bright orange Arizona rounded-neck t-shirt. The shirt actually shows up darker than it's natural color.

For my bottoms, I wore this floral, Hawaii-styled skirt from Aeropostale. I really like it and thought the orange shirt was a great contrast to the navy darkness of the skirt. Sorry for the blurriness of the photo.

You've already seen the shoes, but I wore my L.E.I. sandals that I actually got from Walmart. They're pretty simple. They have a gold tone and a beaded top. I really like them.

Lastly, for my accessories I wore my bracelet from Hobby Lobby that I showed in a previous post.

Hopefully you enjoyed this little post and I will most likely do another post on what I bought today. Bye!

Candles

Hey guys! For the past month, I've really been into candles. My mom always had candles around the house and it was the ones that smelled like leaves, the ocean, and other nature scents. For me, I thought those scents were just...not me. So while we were at Target about a month ago, I looked at the candles. The red velvet one didn't really appeal to me, but the sweet spun sugar totally pulled me in.

I don't know if you can see, but in a dew days I burned almost of it. I have about 4 cm left of it and I'm conserving it. This candle is a soy candle, so I did find it a little pricey, but not bad. I only got the 4oz candle that can burn up to 20 hours. I really like it.

The other day I actually went to Walmart and looked at the candles. I wanted a cheap one and I was in a rush. I looked at the Mainstay candles, and smelled each one of them. All of the scents were nature or fruit. I smelled the last one and it was vanilla. I was kind of skeptical about it because it is totally strong. When you light this candle it fragrances the whole room. If you come from another room into where the candle is burning, or just open the candle, the smell hits you in the face. This candle, to me, has good quality for it's price and being a knock version of the more expensive candles. I got the 20oz candle, but the candle doesn't state how long it'll burn for.

Hope yall enjoyed today's post and let your home smell of cotton candy and vanilla too! Bye!

Beautiful Sundown Sky

Hi! Today is just a droopy, yucky, rainy day for me, so I thought I would share a picture with yall that could brighten your day. I took this picture last weekend on our way home from the mall. It was about 6-7 o'clock at night. We were in the middle of now where and the sun was setting. The clouds looked outlined in the sky and we also saw a rainbow because it had just finished raining.

Here's the pictures:

Can't wait to see something like this again.

Just fun!

Hey guys, so I haven't posted something in about 3-4 days. I've been working on my writing skills and writing stories. So the other day, I made this cute little video of my dancing penguin. It's dancing to the song Call Me Maybe by Carly Rae Jepsen. I am completely obessed with this song. Let me know if you would like to read the stories I write or have just more fun videos like this one.

Here's the video:

Hope this brightened yall's day a little! Peace!

Waking up at 3 AM!

Hi! Today I had to wake up at 3 in the morning to go to the airport. I got back to the house around 6:30AM. I watched my DVR recordings of the new Dance Moms from last night and the Hardcore Pawn episodes also. It was a rough morning for me!

All I know is that when I get up early, I go back to sleep later and wake up at my usual time. I actually just got up and ate lunch ,but I usually get up at ten though. I went to sleep about 8 in the morning. I hate mornings like this and I am dreading waking up for school. Just giving yall an update. Hopefully, I'll be fully rested tommorrow, but I doubt it. Anyway...

Nail Polish of the Day- July 16th

Hey everyone! I haven't done a nail polish of the day post lately ,so I thought I'd do one today. Today's nail polish is Spectrum of Sally Hansen's HD line of polish.

I actually got this at CVS 75% off. I wish they would've had more colors to choose from, from the ones that were on sale. This polish is awesome. I actually painted my mom's toes with it about 3-4 weeks ago and it stills look great. It also is very bright and shiny and makes a statement. I really love this and I can't wait to try it out on my own nails. I highly recommend this. I don't know how well the other colors with work out, because I only have this one HD polish, but judging from this past experience with Spectrum, I will definitely try and get more of Sally Hansen's HD polish.

Hope yall enjoyed today's post! Bye!

My Top 5 Fashion Patterns

Hey! So, a couple of days ago I was looking through my posts and saw that my My Top 5 TV Shows post had the most views. Because of this, I starting to think of other Top 5 posts I can do. The first one is my top five fashion patterns.

Here they are:
1) floral
2) solid
3) denim
4) polka dot
5) camo

I picked these five because that's what I wear mostly. Being from south, camouflage is a kind of a big thing down here and I think it's fun. Now plaid, stripes, zebra, cheetah, or any animal prints I find are cute as accents to clothing, but not full. Also I do love zebra print a lot, but I like it accessories-wise and decorating-wise ,not clothing. Lastly, when I'm at home or outside (not often, not an outdoorsy girl), I tend to find myself wearing old tie-dyed shirts. I love them because they are colorful, but I wouldn't wear them in public to much.

I can't wait to do another Top 5 post. Let me know of other Top 5 post you'd like to read or tell me about your Top 5. Bye!

New Favorite Novelty T-Shirt

Hello everyone! I hope everyone had a great day and I just wanted to share my favortie novelty tee with yall. I got this one a couple weeks ago. I was looking at all the t-shirts at JCPenny (in the mens section while looking for clothes for my brother, and saw a Dr. Pepper shirt. I thought it was awesome. Especially being I want to become either a doctor or dentist, but my brother actually ended up getting that shirt. He likes Dr. Pepper better than Coke and I'm the total opposite! Anyway, next to the Dr. Pepper shirt I saw a coke shirt and I went crazy. It was so soft and I loved it. I figured I could get away with that shirt being a girls shirt, so I got it and I love it. It's so soft.

Click the pick to see it on store's website.

Truthfully, this is really my first real novelty tee because I'm more into the fashion stuff, but my brother is the total opposite (again!). That's the only shirts he'll wear. Anyway, I'm really happy with this shirt and love to wear around the house. What's your favortie novelty tee?

Love Yall!

Outfit of the Day- July 13

Hi! Today is Friday the 13th! I'm not that superstitious, but it gives me a reason to stay in bed all bed! I actually didn't sleep all day though. I went shopping and got a few things.

First, I'm going to give you a little outfit of the day (OOTD).

My top is actually from JCPenny (where most of my clothes are bought). I love that store! This top is a lace tank. They came in a few different colors, but I got white because I thought it would match with more of my colored shorts. Basically, the tank has a piece of lace sewn on top and the lace makes a pretty flowery design. Also there is a gold zipper half way down the back, but it's mostly for looks because the shirt is kind of flowing, so there's no need to unzip it. The only bad things about this top is that is sticks to everthing and the lace gets caught in the other clothings while in the washing machine and dryer, so it has to be washed seperately. :(

For my shorts, I picked out my black snake skin shorts by A.N.A. Again, I got them at JCPenny. They had the tan snake skin shorts, but I liked the black better. What I really like about these is that it's not like a floral short or stipped short. You can pass these shorts as a patterned short or a solid, therfore you can put this with just about any shirt. The material of these are really soft and streches as you wear them. They kind of stick to you throughout the day. You don't have to worry about itchy seams or things like that. These shorts
are really comfortable and one of my new favorties.
Lastly, for my shoes I wore these sandals by L.E.I. that I actually got from Walmart for $25 for Easter. Usually I don't get clothes or shoes at Walmart, but these sandals really caught my eye. They have a lot of gold tones, so I really enjoy matching them with different things. They also have a tiny wedge in the back of them that I find is to high for that shoe because when I wear them, the hell twist and I hurt my foot several times throughout the day while wearing them. I don't wear these too often because the jewels on the sandals rub on the top on my feet and scratch me. I'm very particular about shoes!

That's was my OOTD for today. The first store we actually went to was Hobby Lobby. I wanted a new bracelet and while looking around, by the checkout, I found this very unique selections of jewelry. I saw a few bracelets that I liked, but I fell in love with this one.

It actually looks different is the lightings on camera, but it's real color is like the last picture. I really think this is unique. I love the rose and the leaf shaped charms. ( I have a thing for roses!) I have to say that this bracelet is personalized for me even though it was bought that way beacause of the topaz jewel. It's my birthstone! As you can see, the chains are different color metals. I think this a really fun piece and very modern yet traditional and old-fashioned. I also believe this will go with many outfits. All in all, this bracelet was $5.99 and I really love it!

That's about it! Sorry, today was a really long post, but I just wanted to try something different, so please comment and subscribe and have a safe weekend. Bye!

Love yall!

Remove your nail polish without nail polish remover!

Hey! So, today I was wondering what to write about. Looking down at my blank finger nails and thinking back to how I got the nail polish off so quickly, gave me today's post. Let's get started!

So one night I was playing around in the water a lot and as fingers soaked, I realized my nails getting soft. I was tired of my nail polish design, so I decided I wanted to take it off. My ring fingers had the designs (colorful fish scales with glitter) and had the most polish built up (about 5-6 layers), so I decided to do those fingers first. I chose one side of the nail and peel the paint gently from the top to the bottom of my nail. Then I took that piece and carefully peeled off the nail polish, pulling in a different spot everytime to make sure the polish came off in one strip.

Now for the other fingers, painted about 3 coats of Marine Scene by Sally Hansen, I tried the same technique, but being I didn't have as much polish built up on those nails, their polish came off more in strips, but still easily. There's not much more to say, except maybe try this for yourself. You might have different results! If you do try this, let me know and you can enjoy your plain nails that doesn't have a acetone smell!

Up and Coming Music- Kenny Chesney's Welcome to the Fishbowl

Hey everyone! Now I'm a big country music fan! Right now one of the most popular albums just out is Kenny Chesney's Welcome to the Fishbowl.

I think Kenny has a great voice, personality, and everything else that a country music star should have. One of my most favorite songs by him is "When the Sun Goes Down" performed with Uncle Kracker. The reason this is because when I was about to enter kindergarten this song was all over country radio. Me and my cousins would actually sing this song everywhere we went and even tried to start a band, which I find now pretty stupid.

There's already now three big hits off of Chesney's album. I can't even pick a favorite! The first one I've heard on the radio was "Feel like a Rockstar" with Tim McGraw. I also love Tim, escpecially being he's from my state. The second to come on air was "Come Over". It has a slow side and a upbeat-slow tune. I really love it. The most recent is "Welcome to the Fishbowl". I can't get enough of this song. When I first heard it, it was on the radio in the car (like most) and Kenny Chesney was promoting his album and playing some of his top ten songs, on The Highway (Channel 59) of Sirius XM. When he explained this song, I totally understand what that song meant. If your interested, please check out his interview.

Now I have the album already, if you would like to listen to a preview of this album, click here, and scroll down to the bottom. It should be on your lower right.

Hope you guys enjoyed this and for more information about Kenny and his new or past albums, check out his site. Kenny Chesney's site! Now I have to go listen to this album some more. I'm getting addicted!

Store Review-Torrid

Hi! So I haven't blogged in a few days due to my computer crashing, but it's back up and I'm ready to blog! I want to thank everyone who is reading this because I recentley got a lot more visitors. Thanks yall! Now on to today's blog!

I know this is a beauty/fashion blog, but I think I'm going to start posting some review posts. Some will be beauty related and others not.Today, for you, I have just one of those post.

Last weekend, I went to the the mall. I had a great time with my cousins being I don't see them much. My aunt actually introduced me to this store. I was skeptical about it at first, but as soon as I walked in the store, I fell in love. There wasn't really much selection in-store. I saw this teal and gray stripped halter top. I wasn't too sure on how the sizes ran, so I tired a size zero first. (This is a plus sized store, by the way.) It fit, but it was a little tight in the top, so I tried the one (in another color) and it fight perfectly. The store didn't actually have my size in the teal one ,so I ended up with the pink and gray stripped one.

To see the top I ended up with CLICK HERE!

The pricing wasn't too bad at Torrid. The shirt I got was actually $25, but when I got home I looked on the website and I found a lot of the same clothes on sale online.

My over all experience with Torrid was great. The jewerly was very unique also and they had some very cute, edgy swimwear. I hope I can visit this store again.

Trends of the Summer- Colored Shorts

Today, I want to talk about a sky-rocketing trend. Most likely everyone has either a pair of these of has seen them in the stores.

I have about six or seven pairs of colored shorts. I really think they are great to sport in the summer and fun to match with different tops. I love to expertiment with my colored shorts and I also like to color block them. Almost every store I've been to are selling these fashionable cut-offs. I've seen them from Target to JcPenny to some of the more expensive stores. Personally, I like the shorts that are a little bit longer because I don't like the ones are up your butt.

Hope you all like today's post. I can't wait to do more posts.

Love yall.

Bow of the Day- July 2

Sorry for my lack of blogging, but I've been very busy lately. Today, I have a very unique bow for yall.
I actually got this bow last March (around time for Mardi Gras).

I really love it because it represents my state and culture very much. The purple and yellow tiger stripes symbolize my state's fighting tigers. GO LSU!

And the white ribbon says Mardi Gras on it, if you can see that. Lastly, I really love the button on this accesorie. It has a yellow rim like a bottle cap and a yellow fleur de lis with the background of a purple and green plaid.

I hope yall have really enjoyed today's post. Let me know what you think in the comments below.

Love yall!
